A teenage model who was allegedly duped into having sex with a self-proclaimed Taoist master said she never mentioned their 'goddaughter' relationship in statements she made to police because she seldom addressed him that way.

The defence for Au Yeung Kwok-fu, who has denied nine counts of procuring unlawful sexual acts by false pretences, recounted what the 19-year-old told police: 'Our relationship was only master and customer. And we didn't have telephone conversations on normal days.'

But she maintained that: 'At that time I seldom addressed him as godfather, so I forgot about this relationship when I gave the statement.'

The model, who has been granted anonymity, alleged Au Yeung had sex with her on nine occasions between April and December 2007 on the assumption that he was performing Taoist Mao Shan rituals.

Yet in evidence given on Wednesday, she conceded under cross-examination that she had become Au Yeung's goddaughter before the first ritual performed in April 2007, and that she had acted as his daughter's bridesmaid.

Yesterday, in response to questions raised by the defence, she denied allegations that she had lied to the police in the statements in order to portray 'an isolated relationship' with Au Yeung.
