Tests find hairy crabs healthy

Tests results on 106 samples of hairy crabs collected at import, wholesale and retail levels were satisfactory, the Centre for Food Safety said yesterday. Crabs were tested for drugs, metals contamination, synthetic hormones, colouring and parasites. A spokesman for the centre reminded traders to ensure they imported hairy crabs with health certificates from reliable suppliers.
