New roles for old industrial buildings

Industrial buildings could be revitalised to fit in with their surroundings, Secretary for Development Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor said. For example, Sham Shui Po's industrial cluster could be a fashion retail centre to fit in with the district's fashion wholesalers. The Hung Hom cluster could be a jewellery design and retail centre to complement the district's existing jewellery business.
