If you want to have some fun with your dog near the waterfront, this is your chance. A pet carnival at the Wan Chai waterfront on Sunday will feature doggy agility contests, game booths and performances.
The agility contests will allow owners and their four-legged friends to tackle challenging tasks together. There will also be sharing sessions where experts will offer training tips to pet owners.
The annual event is organised by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and Wan Chai District Council.
Educational content was added to this year's carnival to promote a sense of responsibility among pet owners, organisers said.
There will be talks on animal care, pet owners' responsibilities and the proper training of pets.
'We would like to promote the essence of 'responsible pet ownership' this year because more and more people have started keeping pets in recent years,' a spokeswoman for the SPCA said.
