1. Under Mount Fuji - Eason Chan Yik-shun
The first time I heard this song, I didn't understand the lyrics, but the more I listen, the more I can relate to the story behind the story. It's about how a guy breaks up with his girlfriend. Eason's voice is so powerful, it penetrates your heart.
2. Red Bean - Faye Wong
This is one of my favourite tunes about a couple who are madly in love, but can't be together. Khalil Fong Dai-tung did a new version recently, but sang it different. I like both versions.
3. My Pride - Joey Yung Cho-yee
I think this song is meant for me. I remember when I first arrived in Hong Kong from the mainland, I was so lost in this city. I was being judged on my accent, my look and everything about me, but this song taught me to be strong, to learn to appreciate myself and not give up on my dreams.
