Australian jockey Brett Prebble continues to ride a white-hot winning streak and stretched his lead in the jockeys' championship out past double figures yesterday as another treble had talk of titles in the air.

Prebble went to 26 wins for the term - 11 ahead of apprentice Keith Yeung Ming-lun and with reigning champion Douglas Whyte now 16 astern - after Legend, Majestic Heart and Supreme Win all won by race six to make a walkover of the Jockey Challenge.

'Championship wins don't feed the kids but if it does happen I would regard it as a real feather in my cap,' said Prebble, who has been runner-up to Whyte for the past three years.

'But it's still a long way to go, anything can happen in racing, we'll see. But more importantly, I'm very, very happy with the way I'm riding.

'I'm feeling very confident in myself and all the horses are getting the right run and I'm getting great support from the owners and trainers. I'm really enjoying myself - if that did end up with a championship win, then that's a bonus.'

Three-year-old Supreme Win was the highlight, backed as if unbeatable before handing out a thrashing to the Class Four Pui O Handicap field.

'He's a minimum Class Three horse but the handicapping allowed him to run against Class Four horses today so it was a soft kill,' he said.
