Exploding bottle inflicts burns

A 54-year-old woman suffered minor burns to her neck, back and right hand when she was splashed by solvent when the lid blew off a bottle left in a lane off Ma Tau Chung Road, Kowloon City, at about 2.30pm. Police said the solvent, used to clean air conditioners, had been left behind by a worker and pressure had built up in the bottle because of the sun's heat.
