IT was revealed last night that three more people, including a seven-year-old girl and a four-month-old boy, were admitted to hospital after the military-style operation at Whitehead Vietnamese Detention Centre last Thursday. Officials confirmed that the children suffered tear-gas burns to their legs and were taken to the Prince of Wales Hospital on the day of the raid. A man, aged 34, was also admitted after inhaling the gas. The boy has been released from hospital and the others are believed to be still undergoing treatment. The Government previously claimed just one person, a 27-year-old woman, had needed hospital treatment.
