Ella Koon Yan-na has denied having plastic surgery. The singer-actress, who became the centre of attention after singing Diana Ross and Lionel Richie's duet Endless Love on TVB's The Voice last month, was rumoured to have had surgery to make her eyes look rounder.

Koon (right) said her look was 100 per cent natural and that she wouldn't have cosmetic surgery because she believed her looks were a gift from her parents.

She attributed the misconception to her adopting 'better make-up techniques, which can really transform a person's look'.

To clear up the rumours, Koon uploaded pictures to her personal website, some of which showed her without make-up. 'I don't mind showing these photos because I don't wear make-up when I'm not working anyway. I hope these pictures convince people I haven't had plastic surgery.'

Koon said she hoped people would concentrate more on her career than her looks. 'I have been a singer for six years, but it seems people care more about my appearance and personal life. I would be really glad if people took my singing more seriously.'

The 30-year-old singer said she wanted to be known for more than her rendition of Endless Love. 'I am working on a new album that is full of Cantonese music, not English love ballads,' she said.
