ENGLISH FA Cup finalists Chelsea have agreed to take part in the Hong Kong Football Association's 80th anniversary Cup next month. Chelsea have said they want to play and they have joined French giants Monaco and the Australian national team who have confirmed their participation in the event which is most likely to be played between May 22 and June 2. The HKFA are spoilt for choice as Northern Ireland and Portuguese champions Benfica as well as two-time World Cup finals qualifiers Cameroon have joined the queue of those wanting to play in the territory. AC Milan remain the HKFA's biggest drawcard but hopes of them coming are fading. Last night the organisation committee deemed their financial demands for participation here to be far too expensive. The organising committee has yet to decide whether the event will be a single game between AC Milan and the Hong Kong League XI or two games.
