Hong Kong Fur Federation Design Competition 2010
Where: InterContinental Hong Kong 
When: January 7
What: The federation's young executive committee presented its annual competition as a glittering 1980s discotheque party. Forty fur outfits by aspiring local design students were paraded  before a panel of judges and some of Hong Kong's top fashionistas. Eight established designers  also showed their apparel.  
 Who: Industry veterans and socialites on the scene included Lu Lu Cheung,  Hidy Ng Kwan-kay, Diane Benedetti, Timothy Everest,  Betty da Silva,  Andrew Yuen Wai-man  and his wife Yvette Yuen Wing Man-wai,  Samantha Chow Sin-gei and Amanda Lee Wai-man.
