Recorded live over three nights at the Citi Field, Good Evening New York City includes many of the highlights of Paul McCartney's career.

A must for Beatles and McCartney fans alike, the set consists of two music CDs, along with a DVD of the same performances captured on video. In the shows on July 17, 18 and 21 last year, McCartney ranged across the old and new in his catalogue.

But it's the songs made famous by the Beatles, with their old-school laid-back style, that are personal favourites.

The album will appeal to youngsters who love classic slow rock and ageing fans alike.

Let Me Roll It has a very strong rock feel, while the guitar solo in Highway is absolutely amazing, and will inspire many air guitarists. The gentle pop of Eleanor Rigby, with its very subtle melody, makes a much appreciated change from the hard-rock numbers.

The first disc consists of some less well known songs, while the second is packed with classic Beatles' tracks, such as Hey Jude, Let it Be and Yesterday.
