In the Na'vi

Danish art director Peter Ammentorp Lund (right) says he wanted to create his own avatar after seeing James Cameron's latest box-office hit, Avatar, which pits the blue-skinned Na'vi, planet Pandora's indigenous race, against human colonists. Lund spent several hours 'fooling around' with graphics-editing program Adobe Photoshop and the result is his amazing 'Birth of an avatar' video. A search of the title on YouTube leads to a one-minute clip that shows how Lund achieved the Na'vi look (far right).
