Actor Francis Ng Chun-yu will face trial over allegations that he hit a man in a Kowloon City bread and dessert shop after his wife got into an argument.
Ng, 48, pleaded not guilty in Kowloon City Court yesterday to one count of wounding Ming Chi-hong at the Ceres Boulangerie et Patisserie on New Year's Day.
Ng, who lives in Sai Kung, allegedly hit Ming's head and left him with an injury that required stitches.

The court heard that Ng's wife had got into an argument with Ming and his wife at the store in Fuk Lo Tsun Road.
The actor will face trial on April 1.

The prosecution will call six witnesses, senior prosecutor Cora Lo Kai-lai said.
A medical report on the alleged victim will also be submitted.
