INSTANT-Dict chairman Thomas Tam believes he is three players short of a team good enough to end Eastern's domination of the Hong Kong First Division.
After seeing his side beat Rangers 4-1 at Mongkok Stadium last night to consolidate their second spot in the table behind champions Eastern, Tam said he would be trying to sign three new players in the summer.
''I think I need to change three positions to have a team strong enough to win the league next season,'' said Tam.
''But I would prefer not to say which kind of player I am looking for at this moment because we still have the FA Cup to play for this season.
''We are a commercial team and therefore we need to keep changing to be successful.
''Of the five foreign players here now I will choose three, maybe four, and I also hope to sign two more local Chinese players.'' Tam has told the five foreign players - central defender Roddy Manley, midfielders Sean Edwards and Steve Berry and strikers Graham Harvey and Ian McParland - that they will know next week if their services will be required next season.
''It will be a hard decision because I think they are all very good but only one is outstanding - Manley,'' said Tam.
