The government has invited six minibuses to join the 28 taxis which are taking part in tests to determine the cause of stalling engines among vehicles using Sinopec's liquified petroleum gas. The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department - which yesterday held its third meeting with a panel investigating the incidents - said there had been no proof that Sinopec's LPG was poor quality. The department has received 148 complaints of stalling engines since January 4, but the number has dropped greatly since January 12.
