dvd: The Hangover. Packed  with clever jokes and uproarious situations, this is surprisingly girl-friendly.  
movie: Avatar. With its incredible special effects, this is still showing for a reason.  
book: Gossip Girl. Love, lies and guys. Such a guilty pleasure; you know you love it.
gadget: Tap Tap Revenge 3 for iPod Touch/ iPhone. An utterly addictive game - but at least it's good  exercise for your fingers.
