The Porsche dealership in Hong Kong officially opened its new showroom on Monday. The new place is just two blocks from Porsche's old home, but the Gloucester Road spot in Wan Chai is considerably larger, can fit seven cars and has extra space left over to display optional car features, accessories and ancillary Porsche products like shirts, handbags, wallets, sunglasses and more. Not everyone can afford a Boxster or a Cayman but everyone can pick up a key chain, right? Porsche also unveiled the newest 911 model, side by side with several past makes for a comparison of the iconic car's evolution. General manager Derek Tong emphasised one new feature not immediately visible. 'For the first time, this latest 911 model has the power of seven speeds and is able to reach 100km/h in 3.4 seconds.' That should be useful when you're crawling along in Hong Kong's rush hour, right? Speaking of models, Lisa Selesner (right) doubled as car presenter and event MC, and said this was the kind of gig she wanted as she wound down her catwalk career. 'MC-ing is a new thing for me and I'm enjoying it,' she said. 'Some people say I have a gift for it but I think I'm still a small potato in hosting. Derek Li Ho-lam is so good because he can speak three languages so fast with no need to think twice. Rebee'a Yeung Lok-ting needs to read the script one time and can remember everything. However, DoDo Cheng Yu-ling is who I hope one day to become. I want to be her English-speaking version.'
