Ten taxi drivers who blocked access roads to the airport in a December 2008 protest had their jail terms converted into suspended sentences yesterday. The drivers had been ordered by Tsuen Wan Court to serve jail terms of seven weeks to two months. They were given sentences of the same duration suspended for 18 months at the Court of Appeal and fined HK$5,000 each.
