Last year, our junior reporters covered a fashion show by HKIS student Orange Chan. This year, your designs could be up there .

Quintessentially Foundation is organising a design contest for students aged 14 to 19 for the chance to win an internship with an established fashion designer, brand or retail outlet. Ten finalists will receive HK$5,000 to create their dress, which will be modelled at the 2010 Style 4 Schools fashion show in November. All proceeds will go to the charity Room to Read.

If this sounds good, read on.

1 Fill in the form (go to yp.scmp.com > over to you > engage > 2010 Style 4 Schools) and raise HK$1,000. This will fund six months' worth of education under Room to Read's girls' education programme. The deadline is April 30, so start raising funds!

2 Design a dress inspired by one of the Room to Read beneficiary countries and send it, with a 500-word essay on fashion and education (details on the YP website), to the Quintessentially Foundation by May 31.
