The World Team Championships will remain in Moscow despite the deadly terrorist suicide bomb attacks in the Russian capital that killed 39 people and wounded dozens of others. Adham Sharara, president of the International Table Tennis Federation, who is in Guangzhou for the Volkswagen Cup, said there were no plans to change the venue for the world event, which has been slated for May 23 to 30. 'The Moscow authorities have promised to tighten security measures for the tournament,' Sharara said. 'But there are bound to be teams who will withdraw because of security fears. This has happened before.'
