EARTH Day, April 22, is celebrated around the world in many different ways.

  In Hong Kong, the American Community Theatre (ACT) is staging Ibsen's An Enemy of the People, a play about a community faced with an environmental problem and a difficult economic decision.

  It is obviously extremely relevant to Hong Kong today.

  This production is excellent; one of ACT's finest.

  The volunteer cast and crew have worked hard for several months to put together an electrifying performance of a difficult play.

  Half of the proceeds from the April 22 show will go to Friends of the Earth (FoE) Hong Kong.

  FoE would like to thank ACT and the cast and crew of the play, for their hard work and their choice of material.

  We also urge your readers to treat themselves to a moving and relevant evening of drama this Earth Day.
