Given the long silence following the release of his debut album six years ago, singer-actor Jaycee Fong Cho-ming has plenty to say on his new CD due out later this month. 'I hope my new album won't disappoint my fans. I've written a lot of songs, altogether 18 of them. I haven't sung for a very long while. Singing is like talking, and I haven't talked for too long. So once I opened my mouth, it was 18 songs,' said 27-year-old Fong, the son of action superstar Jackie Chan. Fong's self-titled album garnered mediocre sales following its release in 2004. He then shifted his focus to movies, appearing in films such as 2 Young. He next appears on the big screen as the lead in Barbara Wong Chun-chun's new coming-of-age romance, Break Up Club. The movie, which will open in June, co-stars his rumoured ex-girlfriend, singer Fiona Sit Hoi-kei. 'This is different from all the movies I've made; there are only two or three main actors,' he said. 'I hope the audience likes our performance.'
