If you are curious about what makes news 'news', and how the Young Post editor picks and chooses the news you will read in tomorrow's paper, this is your chance. Next Thursday, the Young Post team is organising a live workshop which will give you unique insights into an editor's job. It will also be an opportunity for you to take the command and compile a whole page of news. Guided by YP's editor, you will take the editor's seat and go through the oh-so-important process of news selection. You will also be able to choose the topics for the quizzes and polls for the YP website, and see them go live. The lucky participants will win tickets to the hottest movies currently showing and a bag of goodies. To join the workshop, e-mail your name, age, school and contact details to email@example.com . They are only 12 places available, and it will be first come first served, so hurry! The deadline for applications is Tuesday. The workshop will be held at our Causeway Bay office from 5pm to 6.30pm on Thursday. The chosen participants will be notified by e-mail.
