Soundbite 'I had a six-month training stint at the Hong Kong Sports Institute a few years ago,' says Enoch. 'I left the training squad and decided to focus on my studies. But I didn't give up the sport. Instead, I chose a training scheme which suited my school schedule. 'I have participated in fewer tournaments in recent years. I used to be extremely concerned about the results of every match and sometimes I even cried when I lost. Now winning or losing doesn't bother me anymore. If I play an excellent match, I'll have no regrets. 'We reached the finals of this year's Grade A inter-school competition. I upset Chiu Chung-hei from La Salle College, who plays for the Hong Kong team, in the opening match of the finals. That match was a great boost to our team's morale and we eventually won the title. It was a historic moment for our school.' From his coach 'Enoch is a fine player with good rhythm and speed on the court. He is aggressive and his best weapon is to play an attacking game,' coach Ruo Kai-kai says. Liao Feng, another coach, adds: 'He is an incredible athlete. I have seldom seen a boy who is able to manage both studies and sports at a high level like Enoch has done.' Ambitions 'I hope to help my school defend the championship in the next inter-school competition. I am also looking forward to participating in more events after the public exam,' says Enoch.
