Gamers, mark your calendars because on May 9 one of the giants of video gaming will be coming to Hong Kong for a special signing event. 
Creator, writer and producer of the long-running Metal Gear Solid (MGS)  series will be  in Hong Kong to promote his latest game - Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker - for the Sony PlayStation  Portable.  
Hideo Kojima  is most widely known for his work on the MGS series and has made  more than 20 MGS games for various platforms over the last two decades. 
In 2008, he became the first  game designer to win an MTV Lifetime Achievement Award.  
Joining Kojima on the MGS Peace Walker Asian tour is long-time MGS character, environment and mechanical designer Yoji Shinkawa.  
Shinkawa has worked on numerous titles such as Zone of the Enders  and Policenauts. Shinkawa has also contributed monster and mecha (walking vehicle) designs for the movie Godzilla: Final Wars.  
To celebrate the release of the new game, a special limited-edition package has been released.
The package includes camouflage-coloured PSP, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker  software, standard AC adapter, rechargeable battery, two limited-edition military badges and a special limited-edition aluminium box.   It costs HK$1,688 and  went on sale yesterday.  
The Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker World Tour 2010 0509@Hong Kong event takes place on May 9 at Olympian City 2  in the Atrium.  The registration and sales booth opens at 11.30am, with the main event starting at 2pm.
The first 200  visitors will get  an individually numbered MGS Peace Walker  World Tour 2010 military dog tag, an MGS Peace Walker poster, Kojima  and Shinkawa   autographs and a chance to  join the lucky draw.  
Those who  buy the Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker PSP limited edition  at the event will get these extra gifts: MGS Peace Walker limited- edition military badges, MGS Peace Walker  World Tour 2010 military dog tags and a Sony 4GB thumb drive (while stocks last).
If you don't want to miss  the chance to meet Kojima and Shinkawa and get their autographs, make sure you get to Olympian City 2 nice and early because the last time Kojima was in town the event was packed.
