Lawyer sued over cartoon goat mascots

The copyright owner of the cartoon goat mascots of the Joint Committee for the Promotion of the Basic Law has sued a lawyer for registering the trademarks in her name. Infoport Management Ltd filed the claim in the Court of First Instance against Troutman Sanders solicitor Monin Ung, who had helped it name Bala Goat and Koona Goat. The mascots are based on Pleasant Goat, a character from the mainland's Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf cartoon series.
