Public relations consultant Real Ting Chi-ko is eager to have a baby with his Canto-pop singer wife Miriam Yeung Chin-wah, but he can't keep his hopes to himself.
At the brand's On Lan Street store launch for Chouette's Message collection of watches on Tuesday, Ting (pictured) and fellow guests of honour, models Angelababy Yeung Wing and Mandy Lieu, were asked to send a message to their beloveds. Ting's message to Yeung was loving, but the words 'I'll always be there for you' were perhaps hardly the makings of a mother-to-be.
So Ting showed Yeung pictures of Quintus, the new-born son of celebrity couple Nicholas Tse Ting-fung and Cecilia Cheung Pak-chi. Now she's talking babies, said a beaming Ting.
'She said if every baby can be this cute, she wouldn't mind having her own,' said the 31-year-old, who is five years younger than Yeung. Ting explained why he wanted to have a baby boy: 'Because I don't have to worry too much, you know, I can send the boy to boarding schools overseas. But yeah, daughters are closer to their dad.'
So while Ting has already started planning the futures for his offspring, we understand Yeung isn't pregnant yet. We've also heard fung shui masters advised Ting to have a baby next year to bring his family good luck. Maybe that's the reason why Ting's keen to play mothers and fathers with Yeung.
