Man detained over Kwun Tong assaults

Police yesterday arrested a 58-year-old man in connection with a series of indecent assaults in Kwun Tong since March. Officers laid an ambush for the man in Tsui Ping Estate North, Kwun Tong after receiving reports of indecent assaults over recent months. The man was spotted and arrested at about 1pm. He was detained for questioning last night and no charges had been laid. Victims and anyone with information over the assaults are urged to contact police officers on 2709 8330 or 2709 8200. Officers of the District Anti-Triad Squad of Kwun Tong are investigating.
