Dim Sum did his thing and bobbed up again to upset favourite players yesterday in the Group Three Sha Tin Vase as trainer John Moore continued to dominate the major races.

Moore took both features on the afternoon, with Dim Sum (Darren Beadman) quickly followed by victory for Yummy Spirits (Jeff Lloyd) in the ATV Cup 30 minutes later, and the trainer later had a strong report card for his Royal Ascot-bound sprinter Happy Zero in England, too.

'He's arrived in great shape at Andrew Balding's stables and I'm really looking forward to seeing what he can do in the Golden Jubilee Stakes a few weeks' time,' Moore said.

'My son George is with him and told me that any weight Happy Zero lost on the long flight over went straight back on and he's travelled over very well.'

And Dim Sum, the surprise winner of last season's Group One Chairman's Sprint Prize at 50-1, also travelled ominously well to win his first race since that famous day more than year ago.

'He's been struggling a bit for form and was a bit of a surprise today, but he had run a bit better last start in the Group Two and I think having some cut in the ground made a big difference for him today,' Moore said.
