Sunday's Sha Tin meeting is the perfect example of why premiership-leading rider Brett Prebble is so hard to beat in the Jockey Challenge, and should encourage his followers to snap up the $1.90 about him winning again tonight. Prebble was disappointed at only riding one winner on the 10-race card, but his six minor placings ensured no-one could catch him in the point-score event. Prebble has seven mounts, but again he boasts the quality to ensure he will be hard to topple. Douglas Whyte ($3.80) and apprentice Kevin Leung Ka-wai ($50) have a full book of eight rides, but lack the quality to threaten Prebble, who could win on any number of his mounts without surprising. Warm Embraces and Telecom Gogo are terrific chances in races two and three respectively and can get Prebble off to an advantageous start on the front half of the card. My Time will give a great account in race four on the strength of his last-start second behind Windicator Returns, who Prebble rides in race six. Unique Speed ran into ultra-impressive The Untouchablelad last start, but gets his chance against more moderate opposition and should be right in the finish of race five. Last-start winners Windicator Returns and Happy Tumbler are hard to ignore and can add further points to the tally, while Packing Power looks an outstanding chance in the final event and can ensure Prebble finishes on a high.
