In the game, players take control of Dragon Knight or Wing Knight and fight their way through 50 battles to eventually face off with the evil Xaviax.
This is a straight-forward beat 'em up game that will have you pressing the buttons repeatedly within seconds. Controls are made up of a jump, special combat ability, light and heavy attack buttons.
The two shoulder buttons are used to cycle through the five special combat abilities that can only be used once you have filled up the special ability metre.
As you finish each stage, you earn new cards that give players new combat abilities that can be used during fights.
