International property agency King Sturge will host the latest in a series of exhibitions this weekend. Business remains good for the agency, which has continued to sell properties even when market conditions dipped two years ago.
The upcoming exhibition will showcase a new-build development with a trendy southwest London postcode. Sitting on the north bank of the River Thames, Chelsea Creek boasts several desirable essentials, including a dockside location, harbour views and one of the capital's iconic streets, King's Road, just around the corner.
Chelsea Creek is a luxury development with studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom units, and two tiers of penthouse suites that are being developed by prominent London developer St George. The development is one of the newest dockside building projects in London, and one of its key selling points is that it includes a private spa, health club and swimming pool. In addition to the pre-requisite gym which all luxury developments have, Chelsea Creek has a 15-metre heated swimming pool and a spa, whose facilities include a rain shower, a Scandinavian sauna and a stone steam room.
Design features for apartments include balconies or terraces, state-of-the-art kitchens, with Siemens or Miele appliances, and bathrooms with Villeroy and Boch fittings. Hi-tech fittings include a home network system for home theatre appliances and wiring for surround sound connections. Plus, bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms and en-suites are wired to accommodate ceiling speakers, and there's a wall-mounted iPod docking station in the hallway. Selected apartments include an integrated coffee machine.
Penthouse units include floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto large terraces, custom-designed Bulthaup kitchen with Miele appliances and a wine cooler. Platinum penthouse suites feature walk-in double showers and a Boffi kitchen, plus a touchscreen system that controls heating, cooling and audio entertainment system.
Landscaped grounds connect with the nearby Imperial Wharf, another St George development with 10 acres of landscaped parks and a riverside walk built into its design. There are numerous green areas around Chelsea Creek such as Hyde Park, St James's Park and Battersea Park.
