The electric car made by Mitsubishi costs HK$395,000. This is quite expensive for a car.

I don't think it will attract a lot of buyers in Hong Kong. After all, who would want to be constantly recharging their car's battery when you can just go to a petrol station? It takes seven hours to charge the battery, and it needs recharging after going just 160 kilometres.

The car uses new technology that is kinder to the environment as it does not pollute the air as much as other cars, but I don't think this will be enough to win people over.

Also, there is a lack of supporting infrastructure for electric cars. There are very few charging stations in Hong Kong for drivers whose batteries are running low.

With these inconveniences, however much the technology helps improve air quality, electric cars will not sell very well.
