SCMP Reporter

1. Right in Two  - TOOL 
An epic track by undeniably one of the greatest rock bands on earth. Moody, broody, angry and immaculate - this will be played at my funeral.   
2. Sound of Confusion   - Spacemen 3 
This record and its follow-up, The Perfect Prescription,  were a near permanent soundtrack to my hazy days at college. Perfectly controlled chaos.   
3. Who's the Bad Man   - Dee Patten  
During my days as a DJ, this track - in any of its numerous guises - became my anthem. Classic breakbeat.
4. Momma Sed (Live)   - Puscifer  
This one makes me think of my two beautiful sons. Simple, haunting and with a faultless vocal - it connects straight to the core and shines a light into the darkness, just like my boys.
5. The Sounds of Silence   - Simon & Garfunkel   
My parents raised me on a musical diet of Simon & Garfunkel, The Rolling Stones  and Muddy Waters.  I still love them all but this track stands out and conjures up a thousand memories.
