Summer has finally arrived. No more school, no more homework, but plenty of time to focus on the things you love doing, and a perfect opportunity to get creative. The Young Post team would love to see your imaginative handiwork, so send in your paintings, photographs, drawings, collages etc. You could win a trip to Macau to see the ZAIA show by Cirque du Soleil. Every week, we will publish the best entries we receive. The winners will be announced in mid-August. They will go on a fabulous journey to Macau at the end of August, and go backstage at the ZAIA show, participate in a workshop, and top it off by watching the show. The winners will be accompanied by a member of the Young Post team. The prize includes ferry tickets. The deadline for each week is Wednesday, noon. Next week's deadline is July 7. You can only enter one artwork per week. This week's finalists Grace Chee Ching-him, 15, Sha Tin College Grace created a three-layered lino print. Lino printing is a technique which involves cutting into the surface of a floor tile, coating it with ink and stamping it onto paper. Grace chose shoes as her theme because she says they allow us to go wherever we want to, and so represent freedom.
