Hong Kong's Yip Pui-yin won her first trophy since December's East Asian Games in the Malaysia Open yesterday. In an all-Hong Kong women's singles final, she defeated Zhou Mi 21-16, 14-21, 21-19 in Kuala Lumpur. 'Yip has been struggling to regain her best, but showed excellent form in this tournament,' said Hong Kong head coach Tim He Yiming. 'Zhou's recent performance has been affected by her injury but she is also getting better. The result will give both players a strong boost before November's Asian Games in Guangzhou.'
