Brett Prebble has the rides to win tonight's Jockey Challenge - regardless of whether or not he can overcome the two-win deficit to pip Douglas Whyte for the premiership crown. Prebble is the top pick at $3.10 ahead of Whyte, who was posted at $3.30 last night. Whyte has some good chances but he will need to make the most of each and every one of his five rides if he is to win the point-score challenge at Happy Valley. Prebble has seven chances to notch up points and the advantage is clearly in his favour at a track he has made his own all season with 46 wins from 207 rides. The 'King of the Valley' can get off to a solid start with Bernini in the opening race, before Koenigsberg lines up in the second event as a top contender from barrier three. Jolly Good Fortune looks a hope of claiming maximum points in the third, as he looks assured of a lovely run in transit from a suitable draw. Classic Reunion can keep the points flowing in race four, before Prebble takes his mid-card breather in race five and gets himself psyched up for a great finishing treble to the 2009-10 season. Jumbo Gold, Happy Prestige and Perfect Style give Prebble the strongest finish of all the jockeys and, with the chance of the premiership coming right down to the last race, you can be assured Prebble will be getting 110 per cent from each of them.
