The sun goes down but the shades come on as model couple party for Armani in Central
Who wears sunglasses even after the sun sets? Chances are that if you do, you're either a superstar or have been invited to a stylish party to launch some shades. Model Jennifer Tse Ting-ting and her model-actor boyfriend Andy On Chi-kit could claim both excuses at Armani Exchange's sunglasses party at Central's Tazmania Ballroom on Thursday night.
The celebrity couple arrived at the club wearing the brand's latest shades and only took them off when asked to pose for the local media. Some star-wannabe guests also donned sunglasses they fished from the goodie bags they were handed when entering the club.
The shades might come in handy to hide Tse's anxiety now that the rookie actress has finally landed her first film role, a part in Bruce Lee: My Brother's Story, a biopic focusing on the kung fu icon's youth. Filming for the project began in Guangzhou last weekend and Tse is a little on edge. 'I won't allow my parents or even Andy come to visit me on the film set. I'll only be even more nervous,' Tse said. 'I get so nervous just reading out the scripts aloud at home.'
But On insists he will visit Tse on the mainland to show his support.
'Even though she doesn't want me to see her on the set, I'll still be there for her whenever she needs me,' he said.
Sweet, now the lovebirds should really pack some sunglasses to deflect the glare of the paparazzi.
