Typhoon Chanthu failed to stop nearly 100 fans from flooding into Canto-pop singer Justin Lo Ting-wei's album-signing session at Causeway Bay's HMV record store on Wednesday afternoon. The big crowd justified his confidence to stage his appearance on the opening day of the Hong Kong Book Fair, where a string of pseudo-models had appeared to promote their revealing photo books at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai. The 34-year-old New York-born singer said that the models' photo tomes didn't appeal to him. 'There are so many of them,' he said. 'I saw some images on the internet and some of the girls weren't so good-looking anyway.' The singer refused to disclose which models he was talking about, and added that he might publish a photo book as well. 'My selling point will probably be my tummy,' Lo, pictured with a young fan, said, with a laugh. He also shared dating tips to promote his latest album, Habits of Love, which was released last month. 'Honesty is the key,' Lo said. 'I don't want to have any secrets between my loved one [and me].'
