'What do you want to be when you grow up?' Elmo asks the audience during his current stage show. It's a question the scruffy muppet is trying to figure out for himself, too, as the Sesame Street production tours the world, entertaining children during their summer holidays.
Perseverance, confidence and self-belief are the central themes of the show, reminding viewers that Sesame Street isn't only about entertainment but education as well. It also means that if you're not satisfied with the state of your life so far, then maybe it's best just to drop the kids off at the Academy for Performing Arts.
Interactive, musical and funny, the Sesame Street show has also been written to include English-learning aspects, and is performed in English. Chinese subtitles are also displayed.
