You are starting a new job, but are unsure of which day to commence work. The personalised 'Three Harmony Method of Date Selection' will help you pick a good day.

For those starting a business, the years of birth of the main person, or the core group of investors, should be considered. Choose days of the animals that are in harmony with your year of birth, avoiding the days of animals that clash with the year of birth.

The four groups of three harmony animals are: the monkey, rat and dragon; the snake, rooster and ox; the pig, rabbit and sheep; and the tiger, horse and dog. Another set of six harmony pairs are: the rat with the ox; the tiger and pig; the rabbit and dog; the dragon and rooster; the snake and the monkey; and the horse and sheep.

Six groups of clashing animals are: the rat with the horse; the ox and sheep; the tiger and monkey; the rabbit and rooster; the dragon and dog; and the snake and pig. If you are born in the year of the dragon, choose the days of the rat, monkey or rooster, and avoid the day of the dog. If you are born in the year of the tiger, select the days of the horse, dog or pig and avoid monkey days.

In fung shui, the animal that clashes with the direction in which you are sitting should also be avoided. In traditional fung shui, each of the 12 zodiac animals is assigned a specific direction. North is associated with the rat, east with the rabbit, west with the rooster and south with the horse. So, if your office is sitting south and facing north, then it is governed by the horse.

It is not good that you move in on the day of the rat, as this animal clashes with the horse.
