It's been so long since Vivian Chow Wai-man appeared on the big screen - 14 years, to be exact - that the actress was nervous before the first screening of her comeback film, All About Love.

'My heart is pounding tonight,' said the 42-year-old, who last appeared in 1996's Top Banana before moving to Canada in 1997 with her then-boyfriend Joe Ngai Jan. Directed by Ann Hui On-wah, All About Love has garnered buzz for two reasons: Chow's comeback and the film's subject matter - a lesbian relationship. It was chosen to open this year's Summer International Film Festival and Chow (from left) with Sandra Ng Kwan-yue, Jo Koo, Hui, Joey Man Yee-man and William Chan Wai-ting showed up for the screening on Wednesday at Elements mall's Grand Cinema in Kowloon.

Chow shares several onscreen kisses with Ng in the film but she played down the lip locks. 'I'm not that wild a girl,' Chow said. The festival runs until September 13 and features over 70 screenings of 37 films from 14 countries. Visit www.hkiff.org for programme details.
