The city's posh bag-loving ladies were out in force at Central's Azure restaurant on Thursday to celebrate the launch of Furla's autumn-winter collection. Celebrities and socialites, including former Miss Hong Kong Mandy Cho Man-lei and model-turned-actress Lynn Xiong Dailin, were seen sporting the Italian brand's latest exotic safari-themed bags and shoes. To plug the new collection, the beauties were asked to share their globe-trotting experiences and some of their travel souvenirs. Cho came up with a candle stand she found in Paris and Xiong showed off a money box she bought in London. While most of the guests had their eyes fixed on the fashionable accessories displayed in the venue, at least one girl wasn't in the mood for shopping. Socialite Michele Li (pictured) only shared travel photos as her souvenirs. 'I have work, kids and family life to take care of. Shopping isn't really high in priority,' said the daughter-in-law of the late Hong Kong Jockey Club chairman Alan Li Fook-sum. The stylish socialite admitted she was also a fan of online shopping. 'It's so easy. I can do it at two o'clock in the morning if I can't sleep.' Big totes are more likely to be found in Li's online shopping carts rather than clutches. 'I normally carry a big bag so I can put all my stuff. I'm always carrying stuff for my kids as well. I don't travel with mini purses.'
