'Employer in towel raped virgin'

A Filipino domestic helper lost her virginity after being raped by her married employer, who had waited at home for her wearing only a towel, a court was told.

The weeping woman, 38, told the Court of First Instance that the alleged rape had been her first experience of sexual intercourse.

'He did bad things to me,' she said after breaking down in tears.

Lorry driver Lau Wai-keung, 53, is charged with raping the unnamed maid at the flat he shares with his wife and children in Sham Shui Po on October 27 last year. Lau has pleaded not guilty.

Edward Laskey, prosecuting, said: 'She performed all the duties required of her as a domestic helper, but on October 27 last year she was required to perform duties outside her contract - to provide sexual services for the defendant. During that morning, he raped her.'

When the alleged victim returned to the flat after buying food, she found Lau alone, 'seated, but the only clothing ... around him was a towel', Laskey said.

Lau asked the helper to give him a massage and suddenly said that he wanted to kiss her.
