Revamp of Sheung Wan MTR station begins

Major construction work at Sheung Wan MTR station has started as part of the West Island Line project, which will extend the Island line to Kennedy Town. Three-quarters of the station will be closed until the end of the year. The pedestrian route for passengers using Exit E in the east concourse will be changed from tomorrow. The concourse is being enlarged to handle increased passenger flow.
