DISCOVERY Bay made a flying start to their defence of the Titleist Inter-Club golf League with a comfortable 3-0 victory against Clearwater Bay yesterday afternoon.

  Making the most of home advantage, the Lantau Island club won all three of the four-ball, better-ball contests. The biggest winners were the pairing of Joe Pethes and Mike Peasley who defeated Allan Price and Gary Mais 4 & 3.

 The two other matches were more closely contested with Peter Miles and club champion Philip Reunert clinching their victory over Trevor Boucher and Warwick Guy on the 18th green.
