In my class, many students can speak fluent English and have strong language skills. But some of them forget about the most important part of communication - eye contact.
Many students make this common mistake no matter how many times their teachers have reminded them. Eye contact is essential. It makes a conversation more fun and the communication more personal. It's also a sign of respect. Without eye contact, you are not truly communicating.
When students give a speech, they should make eye contact with the audience to engage them.
When we talk to our friends, family and teachers, we should look them in the eye. You can say a lot when you look someone in the eye.
