Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai (anime)
A high schooler uses his incredible gaming skills in the real world to capture escaped damned souls and send them back to hell in the quirky new comedy anime Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai (The World God Only Knows).
It is based on the manga of the same name published in the anthology magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday.
The story revolves around Keima Katsuragi an avid 'dating sim' video game player who has managed to beat every single dating sim and win the hearts of a thousand fictional 2D girls. He is called 'the Capturing God' and blogs updates about his gaming adventures. Yet Keima is a gaming nerd through and through, and has no skills when it comes to courting girls in the real world.
One day while surfing the net he receives an e-mail offering him a contract to 'capture' girls. Believing it to be a new dating sim, Keima clicks 'OK'. As soon as he has agreed a cute demon girl called Elucia appears and informs Keima that the offer he agreed to was a contract with the devil to help capture escaped damned souls that are hiding in the hearts of girls.
The only way to exorcise these souls is for Keima to make the girls fall in love with him. What will Keima do? Can his gaming skills be used on real girls?
