Three police officers left for Manila yesterday to collect more evidence on the hostage tragedy in which eight Hong Kong people were shot dead. The officers - from the forensic firearms examination and organised crime and triad bureaus - want more information on ballistics tests from Philippine authorities, a senior officer said. The Hong Kong police on October 6 submitted to the coroner a progress report on their investigation into the tragedy. A full report will eventually be filed with the coroner.
